Listeria has been in the news a lot lately. There have been two dozen recalls this year associated with Listeria from a wide variety of products including apples, cheeses, salads, corn, green beans, ice cream, dog food, and list goes on.
Listeria is ubiquitous in nature and it’s not surprising that it finds its way into the food processing environment. The challenge is to find it and take proactive steps to prevent it from reaching product contact surfaces and contaminating the final product.
A prudent sampling plan combined with a detection method that is designed to find a single harboring bacterium will go a long way in protecting your customers, your company, and your brand value. Sometimes it’s true, no news is good news.
The attached infographic guides you on your mission to eliminate Listeria from your processing environment (Download a PDF version of the infographic).
