We're excited about the upcoming IAFP annual meeting in Portland. Not only does Roka have a number of exciting events and programs scheduled at IAFP, but we can't wait to check out Portland and the surrounding area.

IAFP is a great opportunity to connect with people committed to food safety. Once again there's a tremendous amount of presentations and workshops to choose from.

There's also so many cool things to do in and around Portland. From local brewpubs and restaurants to bookstores and other cool little shops. How about some scenic sites? The Columbia River Gorge and Mount Hood are less than an hour away. Head west and you're at Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock in an hour and a half.

Visit our booth (#335) and schedule a demonstration of the Atlas® System in our demo room. Come see for yourself why more labs are transforming their business with the Atlas System and Detection Assays. You'll have a chance to win some great prizes, including a Roomba and a GoPro.

 And the award goes to…

We’re excited to be presenting the Harold Barnum Industry Award Tuesday, July 26th at 6:00pm at the Oregon Convention Center. This award is given to an individual for outstanding service to the public, IAFP and the food industry. This year’s award recipient is Peter Taormina.
